Mittenwood — help for grown-ups

What is free and what is not

The first two worlds are free and complete — a child can play them from start to finish without paying anything. Worlds three, four and five are part of the Mittenwood Membership, an auto-renewing subscription of US$2.99 per month (local prices differ). Cancelling stops the renewal; the two free worlds stay playable forever.

Where the membership lives in the game

  1. On the main menu, tap the padlock button in the row of round buttons at the bottom, next to the paw. It disappears once a membership is active.
  2. A grown-up gate appears: a multiplication such as 13 × 4 with four answers to choose from. This is deliberate — a three-year-old does not know multiplication, so no purchase can begin without an adult. A wrong tap simply gives a new question.
  3. The membership screen opens.

Tapping a locked world in the level picker opens the same gate.

Restoring a purchase

Changed phone, or reinstalled the game? Go through the padlock again and tap Restore membership on that screen. Use the same Apple Account or Google Account that bought it. Nothing is charged twice.

Cancelling

Cancellation is handled by Apple and Google, not by us — we cannot see or change anyone's billing. Refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com or the Play Store order history.

Saved progress

Everything a child builds — rescued animals and the names they chose, the village, coins, settings — is saved on the device only. There is no account and no cloud copy, because the game collects no data at all. That also means deleting the game deletes the progress, and it does not travel to a new device. We chose privacy over sync deliberately; see the privacy policy.

Languages

Mittenwood plays in English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Japanese. It follows the device language on first launch and can be changed any time from the pause panel.

Playing without internet

The whole game works offline. A connection is needed only once, to buy or restore a membership.

Screen time

There is a daily time limit in the settings, off by default. When it is on, the game winds down gently rather than cutting off mid-play. There are no timers, no streaks, no lives and nothing that pressures a child to come back.

Nothing is collected

No account, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, no third-party software development kits. Full details in the privacy policy and the terms of use.
